Privacy & Confidentiality
We believe in the privacy of correspondence via the internet. We will not monitor, edit,
or disclose the contents of a client's private communications unless we are required to do
so by law and served with a subpoena, unless we need to protect and defend the rights or
property of our server, or act under extenuating circumstances to protect the personal
safety of our clients or the public. We recognize that to reveal private information by
the client is a last resort and last resort only to resolve any such dispute. We neither
endorse nor dispute the content of any client's communications that go through our
server, nor do we accept liability for such communications.
That being said, the nature of the server itself requires that occasionally the
Administrator of the server, due to technical processing, is sometimes required to
a) send and receive messages
b) conform to connecting networks technical requirements,
c) conform to the limitation of the service or
d) conform to other similar requirements.
This occasionally requires the Administrator to view in part a clients correspondence.
This is a last resort to resolve a technical difficulty and send the correspondence
on it's way. The Administrator has no interest whatsoever to the content of private
communication. The Administration will NOT reveal the contents of such email to a
third party, unless required to do so by law.
We respect the privacy of our clients. We expect our clients to respect the privacy
of the survivors they come in contact with over the internet. What we mean by this is
if a survivor is using an anonymous email server we respect their right to be known
by their anonymous name and their anonymous name only in any and all public forums
or correspondence in replying to them. Here we refer to, although not all inclusive,
are interactions on newsgroups, message boards, and our irc chat services. While we
do not actively monitor these services, should we be informed, or become aware of
this breach of netiquette by one of our clients, that person will lose the benefit
of our server or services. Depending on the severity of the breach, we reserve the
right, at our sole discretion, to take any or all of the following steps: suspend
the clients posting or irc privileges without notice, or give the client one notice
prior to suspending posting/irc privileges. In the even a client uses our hosting
services in an illegal or defamatory way, or to harass other survivors, depending
on the severity of the breach, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to
take any or all of the following steps: remove the clients webhosting privileges
without notice, give the client one notice prior to suspending our webhosting
privileges, or give the client one day notice to remove his/her web pages prior
to banning him/her from the privileges and use of our server. We will also not
tolerate, should it come to our attention, the posting of logs from one forum to
another. What goes on in irc, stays in irc; what goes on in a newsgroup, stays in
a newsgroup. If you have any question regarding the content of our Privacy Statement,
please contact the Administration at admin(at)asarian-intl.org or
admin@asar-intl.com , which ever is appropriate.
